Swisstex California, Inc. seeks a DyeHouse Technical Manager to work in Los Angeles, CA. Bachelor in Chemistry, related field (Biochemistry, Geochemistry, Agrochemistry, Agronomy, Environmental Chemistry, etc.) required. Minimum 2-y exp as DyeHouse Technical Manager or combo of DyeHouse Technical Manager with Technological Engineer in dyehouse production from Dyehouses working with equipment and software systems used in European Dyehouses. European software knowledge in dye processing (Datacolor PROCESS/MATCH/TOOLS, Orgatex), skills in recipe formulation, experience in production digitization & MES implementation, quality control, process improvement, staff training. Basic Spanish required.
Will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects of dyehouse operations in compliance with industry standards, managing dyeing processes, color matching (Datacolor, Natific), chemical usage, and machine maintenance (Benninger). The successful candidate will also be responsible for optimizing production and quality control by monitoring color accuracy, refining recipe formulation (ITM, Orgatex), and ensuring peak machine performance, providing technical leadership, training staff, identifying and resolving technical issues related to dyeing and finishing procedures within a textile manufacturing facility. Continuous professional involvement is also expected.
